What are the dining options?
Carnival offers three different dinner seating options. Indulge in the cruising tradition of assigned seating, with a pre-set dining time and a consistent table assignment. For those seeking flexibility, ‘Your Time Dining’ is perfect, as you can dine when and where you like, on a first-come, first-served basis. And if casual bistro dining is more your style, delight in the delicious offerings at the Lido Deck Restaurant and select speciality restaurants.
What are gratuities and are they mandatory?
Appreciation made easy! Sail with Carnival on international itineraries and experience the convenience of the cruise line’s embedded gratuity system. Ensuring that the hardworking shipboard staff receive their well-deserved recognition, a recommended daily gratuity is automatically added to your cruise fare. You can choose to pre-pay this before you set sail, or settle it with your final shipboard account. Plus, if you’re not completely satisfied with the service, you have the flexibility to adjust the gratuities at your discretion.
On Carnival’s Australia-based ships, gratuities are not required, nor will they be automatically added to your shipboard account. You are, however, still welcome to leave a tip for onboard crew should you wish to.
