Cruising with Children
For the younger guests on board, Cunard offers an impressive array of activities to cater to all ages. Children of all ages are welcome on Cundard voyages, and each ship has specially designated areas that are brimming with age-appropriate activities and entertainment. The Play Zone is tailored for two to seven year olds, and is supervised by an impeccably trained Youth Team. Infants aged 6 months to 23 months are welcome to join if supervised by a parent. The Kid’s Zone is the place to be for eight to 12 year olds, where the Youth Team prepares action-packed days for the older children on board.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is not included in my cruise fare?
There are additional optional costs that are not included in the standard cruise fare that you may want to budget for, such as shore excursions; premium soft and alcoholic drinks; specialty dining; internet packages; Speciality Afternoon Teas; the casino; spa and salon facilities; and gratuities. Cunard offers a number of packages that you can purchase up front that often offer more value than paying as you go.
Is there a dress code onboard?
During the day, comfort is paramount – shorts and t-shirts, sundresses, and casual wear are all acceptable. Evenings on board a Cunard Queen, however, exude a sense of occasion. There’s no need to be dressed to the nines each night if you don’t want to, and you will find many areas on board where casual dress is welcome. But, if you do want to switch to smart attire by night, you won’t be alone. And at least twice on a seven-night voyage, you’ll want to dress to impress, embracing the glamour of Cunard’s Gala Evenings. From floor-length gowns to dapper tuxedos, you’ll find glamour and elegance at every glance.
What is the minimum age of travel?
Cunard doesn’t accept infants under the age of 6 months as a guest, and those under the age of 12 months cannot be accepted as a guest on any Full World Cruise, Exotic Cruise or Transatlantic Crossing. Infants aged between 6 months and 2 years, accommodated as a third or fourth guest in a stateroom, travel free on board. Guests aged 2 to 17 years of age, travelling as third or fourth guest in a stateroom, pay the full fare less the relevant third or fourth person discount. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to travel in a stateroom without an accompanying passenger who is aged 16 or over. There is no maximum age of travel.
