Your first full day at sea. Take a swim, book a spa treatment or find a lounge chair and do nothing at all.

Dock at Phu My and head into a city that never slows down. Explore the Cu Chi tunnels, wander Ben Thanh Market or take in the French colonial architecture downtown.

White sand, warm water and a relaxed pace. Spend the day on the beach or head inland to the Cham towers for a view over the bay.

A day to reset before Vietnam’s north coast. Catch a show, try a new restaurant onboard or join a trivia session by the pool.

Arrive among thousands of limestone islands rising out of emerald water. Take a junk boat deeper into the bay, kayak through hidden lagoons or head further inland to Hanoi’s old quarter.

The deepwater port of Cai Lan is your gateway to the splendors of North Vietnam. Nearby Halong Bay is one of the world’s extraordinary scenic wonders. This World Heritage Site boasts a calm bay studded with over 3,000 dramatic limestone islands, islets and rock formations. Visitors to Cai Lan can also venture up the Red River to fabled Hanoi, the “Pearl of the North.” Today, with memories of the Vietnam War fading, the city impresses with its splendid colonial architecture, ancient temples, superb parks and myriad lakes. It’s little wonder that Northern Vietnam remains one of Asia’s most popular vacation destinations.

The limestone islands in Halong Bay are riddled with caves. The French who once ruled Vietnam called Go Dao Cave the Grotte de Merveilles, the grotto of marvels. Of course, they left their graffiti among the astounding assortment of stalactites and stalagmites.

Sapphire Princess spends the morning easing past the karsts and fishing villages from open water. Find a spot on deck with a coffee and watch the bay go by.

A quiet day between Vietnam and Hong Kong. Take in a lecture, browse the shops onboard or simply enjoy the ocean view.

Skyscrapers meet century-old tram lines in one of Asia’s most electric harbour cities. Ride the Star Ferry, browse Temple Street or take the tram up to The Peak for the skyline in full.

Time to unwind before Taiwan. Book a treatment at the spa, catch up on a book or take a lap of the jogging track.

Dumplings, night markets and hot springs, all within reach of the port. Wander Taipei’s old streets, ride up Taipei 101 or soak in the hills at Beitou.
The port of Keelung is your gateway to Taiwan. Visit the bustling city of Taipei and other interesting areas surrounding on this fascinating island in the East China Sea.

Turquoise water, coral reefs and a slower island pace. Snorkel alongside manta rays, wander mangrove-lined rivers or find a quiet beach for the afternoon.

Your last full sea day before Japan’s coast. Take a stroll on deck, try a specialty dinner or catch the sunset from the top deck.

A harbour city with hills on every side and a history that runs deep. Visit Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Museum, then walk the streets shaped by centuries as Japan’s window to the world.

One last day at sea before Tokyo. Pack at your own pace, join a farewell activity or make the most of the pool before it’s time to disembark.

Arrive in Tokyo and step straight into the energy of the city. Explore Shibuya, Shinjuku or the quiet gardens of the Imperial Palace grounds

A full day to make Tokyo your own. Dive into a food market, browse Akihabara or take a day trip out to Kamakura or Nikko.
