YOUR ITINERARY
The package begins with a night in a 5-star Vancouver hotel. The city sits on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and the 9-kilometre seawall around Stanley Park makes an easy first walk.
...Guests board Crystal Serenity in Vancouver, and the ship sails north into the Inside Passage, the sheltered channel that threads between Vancouver Island and the mainland coast.
...The ship transits Seymour Narrows, where tides race through at up to 15 knots. The twin-peaked Ripple Rock lurked just below the surface here and claimed more than 100 lives before engineers blew it up in 1958 with one of the largest non-nuclear explosions on record.
...A full day ashore in Ketchikan, known for its totem poles and Native heritage.
...Prospectors Joe Juneau and Richard Harris found gold here in 1880, and the town became the territorial capital in 1906. No road links Juneau to the rest of the state, so everything arrives by sea or air. Humpback whales feed in the surrounding waters through the summer, and Mendenhall Glacier lies a short drive from the dock.

...Seward sits on Resurrection Bay, which Alexander Baranov named in 1792, and the town takes its name from William Seward, the secretary of state who arranged the purchase of Alaska. The historic Iditarod Trail begins here, and Kenai Fjords National Park lies just offshore. Guests leave Crystal Serenity, and a private transfer follows the Seward Highway around Turnagain Arm to a 4-star Anchorage hotel.
