A final morning in Hong Kong before boarding, time enough for a last dim sum lunch or a wander through the markets of Sheung Wan. Azamara Pursuit departs Hong Kong at 8:00 PM, the skyline lighting up as the ship sails into the South China Sea.

A day at sea easing into the rhythm of the voyage, with time to enjoy Azamara Pursuit’s boutique atmosphere ahead of the first Vietnamese port tomorrow.

Azamara Pursuit arrives into Ha Long Bay at 8:00 AM, its emerald waters dotted with nearly 2,000 limestone karsts rising straight from the sea, a UNESCO World Heritage seascape unlike anywhere else in Vietnam.

An overnight stay gives a second morning in Ha Long Bay before the early afternoon departure, time enough for a boat excursion through the karsts or a visit to one of the bay’s hidden grottoes.

Da Nang itself has grown into one of Vietnam’s most liveable coastal cities, its long stretch of sandy beach and the Marble Mountains just south of the port giving those who stay close to the ship plenty to explore. Further afield, a full day ashore reaches Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, with its walled Citadel and the tombs of the Nguyen emperors strung along the Perfume River.

Arrival into Ho Chi Minh City in the morning, with time to explore the French colonial Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office before the day is through.

An overnight stay allows a second morning in the city, time enough for the Cu Chi tunnels or the bustling stalls of Ben Thanh Market before Azamara Pursuit departs at 2:00 PM.

A further sea day crossing the Gulf of Thailand toward Bangkok.

Arrival into Laem Chabang in the morning, gateway to Bangkok and its golden spires, with time to visit Wat Arun or the Grand Palace.

An overnight stay gives a second morning to explore Bangkok’s floating markets or its street food scene before the ship departs at 3:00 PM.

A morning and early afternoon ashore on Koh Samui, with time for the island’s palm-lined beaches and the Big Buddha temple at Wat Phra Yai.

A final sea day heading south toward Singapore.

Arrival into Singapore in the morning, followed by a private transfer to the hotel for the first of two nights.

A full day free to explore Singapore, from the futuristic gardens and domes of Gardens by the Bay to the hawker stalls of Chinatown.

The package concludes today, with the skyline views from Marina Bay Sands or a final stroll along the Singapore River a fitting close to the journey.
