CroisiEurope Offers WWI Commemorative Cruises

As the 100th anniversary of the USA entering WWI approaches, French river cruise line CroisiEurope presents their Commemorative Cruise in remembrance.

Paying tribute to the war, guests will have the chance to explore:

·       The "Trench of Death" (Diksmuide, Belgium)

·       Memorial Museum Passchendaele 2017 (Zonnebek, Belgium)

·       A memorial in Kortrijk, Belgium

·       Underground tunnels of Carrière Wellington, France.

These 7-day journeys will be held on the Victor Hugo, beginning at Ostend, Belgium and finishing in Lille, France. The Commemorative Cruise’s 2017 departures will be on 13th September and 3rd October.

Uniworld Presents Millennial River Cruise Itineraries for 2018

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has spilled the beans on the itineraries and experiences that will soon be available with their new brand U by Uniworld. These exciting adventures will be on offer for customers aged 18 to 40, with the aim to give river cruising a modern-day makeover.

Beginning in 2018, U by Uniworld will offer four different 7-night itineraries on two 116-passenger ships, the River Baroness and River Ambassador.

Running from Saturday to Saturday, these trips are a great way to experience the beauty of Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna and Budapest (just to name a few) when you don’t have much holiday-time up your sleeve. Featuring overnight stays, these itineraries allow passengers to experience the nightlife of each destination.

Combining guided excursions and free time to explore, U by Uniworld is giving young travellers the opportunity to satisfy their wanderlust.

Adventures by Disney to Bring ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Themed Cruises in 2018

‘Beauty and the Beast’ fans can look forward to an exciting new development from Adventures by Disney in 2018. They are set to present their ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed river cruises next year, including scenic sailings along the Rhine River.

The itinerary will allow passengers to experience the villages and culture that inspired Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ films. There will even be a themed dinner based on the movie.

A ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed cruise wouldn’t be complete without a screening of both the animated and live-action versions. Guests can enjoy the films as well as a tour of Riquewihr, the French village that reflects Belle’s hometown in the movie.

Adventures by Disney will offer 6 departures of their ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed river cruise in 2018.

With so many amazing river cruise experiences on offer in 2017 and 2018, which adventure will you choose? Get in touch with the friendly team at Cruiseabout to find your perfect river cruise.
