Seabourn Encore ship

Welcome Onboard: Seabourn Encore

Posted November 22nd, 2017

Seabourn Encore is one of Seabourn’s most celebrated small ships - what they call an ultra-luxury liner. Devoted from bow to stern to immersing guests in total opulence from the moment they step on board, Seabourn Encore has been raising eyebrows ever since she took her maiden voyage in early 2017. A regular visitor to Australian shores, she is an integral part of Seabourn’s fleet.

Experience the luxurious comforts of Seabourn Encore.

In numbers

Inaugurated in 2015, Seabourn Encore is 210 metres long and weighs in at 40,350 gross tonnes. She was built to house 604 passengers and is larger than her three sister ships, Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest, by around 20%.

She’s home to around 300 suites and packs a world of entertainment and comfort into her 12 decks. Suites range in size from 23 to 121 square metres.

In such an ultra-luxury liner, there’s no shortage of things to do (or not do, depending on how you prefer to spend your relaxation time). There are numerous bars to choose from across all 12 decks, as well as restaurants by high-profile chefs like The Grill by Thomas Keller. There are spas and wellness centres run by renowned health professionals, multiple observation decks, pools for relaxing by and much, much more.

Onboard dining and drinking

Seabourn Encore is home to a multitude of high-class dining experiences. Apart from the aforementioned (and unmissable) The Grill by Thomas Keller, home to some of the most delicious meals available on any cruise, there’s also The Restaurant on Deck 4 and Sushi on Deck 8 as well as The Patio and The Colonnade on Deck 9. For those looking for a tipple, there are plenty of bars on offer too. From The Patio Bar on Deck 9 to The Club on Deck 5, there’s a spot for you to grab a quiet drink or enjoy some live music and a dance.

There’s no such thing as a regular suite on Seabourn Encore. From the expansive Wintergarden Suite with its stunning panoramic views to the more sensibly sized Verandah Suite, these are rooms that insist on comfort and opulence no matter what. King-size beds, flat screen televisions, outdoor verandas and entertaining areas, miniature libraries and more – these rooms have absolutely everything the discerning guest could possibly want.
