Welcome Onboard: Azamara Pursuit

Posted December 22nd, 2017

Joining the Azamara fleet in March 2018, the highly anticipated Azamara Pursuit will take passengers on voyages of discovery and delight. Keep reading to find out more about the cruise line’s newest vessel.

Destinations

Comparable in size to its petite sister ships, the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, the Azamara Pursuit can visit unique destinations that larger ships cannot reach. Aboard the Azamara Pursuit, guests will visit 15 maiden ports, including new-to-Azamara locales such as Lima in Peru and Antofagasta in Chile.

The ship’s itineraries feature 48 late nights and 26 overnights, delivering the cruise line’s dream of providing immersive experiences for its travellers.

Attractions

Cabaret Lounge – Bands, classical soloists and more take to the stage at this vibrant venue where guests can see as many as four different shows during their time on board the ship.

The Sanctum Spa – Passengers can relax and treat themselves to a variety of treatments, from teeth whitening and haircuts to pedicures, massages and acupuncture.

The Drawing Room – A place of peace and solitude, the beautifully appointed onboard library offers guests a large collection of books to peruse and enjoy.

The Living Room – The social hub of the ship, this space plays host to guest speakers and is the ideal place for passengers to come together for conversations, drinks, and card games.

The Pool – By day, guests can bathe themselves in the sun’s warm rays or the equally warm, inviting water of the pool. During Azamara’s famous White Night party, the pool becomes a centrepiece for festivities galore with a buffet feast, boutique wines, and enchanting entertainment.

Onboard Dining and Drinking

Discoveries Restaurant – At the Azamara Pursuit’s main restaurant, which offers open seating, passengers will find that all their classic dinner favourites have been updated with a slight twist.

Spirits – Kitted out with a flat-screen TV, sports fans will flock to this intimate bar, which is located right next to the casino.

Windows Café – Dine alfresco with an outdoor table at this breezy café, where pastas, salads, fresh sushi, delicious desserts and an array of entrées are all on the menu.

Prime C Restaurant – This specialty restaurant serves up delectable seafood and steak in an inviting setting.

Staterooms

The Azamara Pursuit is host to a variety of accommodation, including three types of staterooms: the Club Veranda Stateroom, the Club Oceanview Stateroom and the Club Interior Stateroom. Passengers booked in staterooms will enjoy 24-hour room service, freshly cut flowers, luxury soaps and toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, and more.

Guests can also choose from a number of suites, such as the Club World Owner’s Suite, Club Ocean Suites, New Club Spa Suites, and Club Continent Suites. In addition to the perks that come with staterooms, suite guests can expect English butler service, 235 minutes of complimentary internet time per person, complimentary specialty restaurants dining, and a free bag of laundry service per suite every seven days.
