Incredible Time-Lapse Video Of A New Zealand Cruise
Travellers dreaming of a cruise can now witness a spectacular preview of one of the world's premier cruising destinations. Princess Cruises last week released a captivating ship's-eye video from Golden Princess as it sailed around New Zealand for 13 nights.
The time-lapse video was released to promote Princess' newest New Zealand cruise program and perfectly captures six different ports (Auckland and Wellington included) along with the breathtaking Fiordland.
“Cruising really is the best way to see a country like New Zealand and this year alone we will sail on more than 22 cruises across the Tasman. Our guests love the experience, so we decided to share it with others,” Princess Cruises Vice President Australia & New Zealand Stuart Allison said.
Those 22 cruises include the first-ever roundtrip sailings from South Australia to New Zealand, meaning Adelaide joins Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney as New Zealand cruise departure points for Australians.
Along with showcasing highlights of the country, the video also gives guests a peek at some of Golden Princess' onboard facilities including one of four swimming pools and the Movies Under the Stars poolside screen.
What viewers won't see is the adults-only Sanctuary retreat, 12-plus restaurants and Skywalkers Nightclub.
It's a bitter-sweet experience, because no matter how many times you watch, the video really is no equivalent to being on the ship.
