Best Experiences on Ovation of the Seas
This truly incredible cruise ship flaunts many must-do experiences that also make for a very unique cruise holiday. Here are just a handful of our favourites.
Be wowed by the views in North Star
Step inside the jewel-shaped capsule that is North Star for a sky-high experience unlike anything else on board a cruise ship. Be lifted up high above the decks – over 300 feet above sea level – and revel in spectacular panoramas over the ship, your exciting destinations and out to the watery horizon.
Let a robot pour your drink
Robotic bartenders? That’s right. At Bionic Bar you can sit back and relax as two robotic bartenders mix, muddle and stir up everything from classic Manhattans to custom drinks made just the way you like it. Just order by app on the nearby tablets, sit back and watch.
Dine with Jamie Oliver
There are 18 different dining concepts on board, but there’s no resisting a celebrity chef culinary experience like the one with Jamie Oliver on Ovation of the Seas. At Jamie’s Italian, his love of Italian cooking and his hearty, family-style approach shines through in rustic dishes that’ll leave you craving for more.
The thrill and excitement of skydiving comes to life for real – just slightly altered – on board with Ripcord by iFLY. In an Australian first, cruisers can step into a skydiving simulator at sea and feel firsthand what’s like to fly.
Try to surf
You don’t have to step off the boat to try your hand at surfing. Save your time at port for exploring and do it on board at Flowrider instead! The 40-foot-long surf simulator is perfect for first-timers and pros alike – no reservation required. Still not convinced? The stadium seating around Flowrider means you can have just as much fun watching.
