P&O Cruises Launches New Internet Packages

Posted June 8th, 2016

Guests holidaying on a P&O Cruises vessel can now share their travels online for less thanks to the cruise line's four new internet packages.

Of these new packages, the $10* per day bronze social unlimited option is predicted to be most popular, giving cruisers access to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Pinterest, Whatsapp, Google+ and LinkedIn.

Although this particular plan is only available on cruises four days or less, there is another $10* per day option for longer trips. The other packages vary depending on data usage.

The big news for passengers is an even greater ability to stay connected and communicate with friends and family back home.

"While holidays are a great time to switch off, we know that a lot of our guests still like to remain connected during their time on board, whether it’s uploading their cruise pictures to social media, keeping an eye on their favourite news site or sending a quick email to friends at home," P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said.

"With the introduction of these new packages, we’re confident that our guests will be able to find an internet package to suit their needs," Mr Myrmell said.

I love the kind of travelling that is one part strategic planning and two parts spontaneous adventure. Whether I'm exploring my local city or a small town in the middle of nowhere, I'm always hoping to find something no one else has discovered.
