Is cruising for me?
Are you thinking of taking a cruise for the first time? If you are, you are bound to have loads of questions! What is cruising really like? Is it right for me? Where should I go? What can I see?
Let’s see if we can help you out with those!
Who is a typical cruiser?
We don’t believe there is a “typical” cruiser. Cruisers are as wide and varied as a lot of the ships they sail on. Some are young, some are old. Some are looking for non-stop fun and some want cultural enrichment.
Cruises are no longer just for the elderly and wealthy like they were back in the 1960’s and 70’s. Over the years, cruising has evolved into an “everyman’s holiday”, and today you will find cruisers of all ages, income levels and backgrounds.
Is cruising right for me?
Of course it is!
Cruises offer something for just about everyone. Some people cruise just for the joy of being at sea – that magical feeling of relaxation, elation and freedom from the stress of everyday life. Some cruise for the port experiences, without the stress of having to worry about packing and unpacking, hotel reservations and flight bookings. The ship is your floating hotel, transporting you from one exotic destination to the next.
So, no matter what you are looking for – a family cruise, a party cruise, an educational cruise, a relaxing cruise – you will be able to find something that is right for you!
What is so appealing about cruising?
Cruises offer excellent value for money – they include all your accommodation, main meals and entertainment while onboard. You can choose from multiple dining options, there is a myriad of entertainment on offer, you can keep up your workout routine and you can explore new destinations – all at the same time.
On a cruise, you can have it all and do it all. Or, you can do nothing at all. It’s your choice!
