Carnival Vista Set to Make Waves
In May 2016, the Carnival Vista set sail on its maiden voyage from Italy and became the latest addition to the Carnival Cruise Line’s family. This action-packed ship is due to enjoy a summer of sailing in Europe, transporting its 6,400 passengers and crew members to some of the most popular cruise destinations in the world.
Guests can join the Carnival Vista as it explores the exciting cities and islands of the Mediterranean, including Barcelona, Rome, Marseille, Naples, Corfu and Messina in Sicily. The Carnival Vista is also scheduled to tour the Caribbean from November 2016, with itineraries that feature ports such as St. Kitts, St. Maarten, San Juan and Grand Turk.
Staterooms and Suites
The large-scale Carnival Vista is all about space and this is reflected in its luxurious accommodation options. To experience an island resort vibe, the Havana staterooms and suites are the way to go. Located near the Havana Bar and Pool, these rooms boast a unique décor, with some suites even featuring an opulent rain shower and hammock chair. Meanwhile, parents will love the Family Harbour accommodation – these staterooms have been decorated in a nautical style and are situated near the Family Harbour lounge, a 24-hour meeting place filled with board games, movies, video games and more. Other accommodation options include the exclusive Cloud 9 Spa staterooms and suites, Ocean View staterooms, Interior staterooms, Balcony staterooms and Suites, the latter of which have whirlpool tubs!

Wine and Dine
From casual dining options to more sophisticated fare, you're sure to enjoy the many food and drink options aboard the Carnival Vista. For instance, if you’re a diehard seafood fan, the Seafood Shack serves up delicious favourites like crab cake sliders, lobster BLT, snow crab and fried buffalo shrimp. If you feel like treating yourself to a truly special dining experience, head to Fahrenheit 555, a steakhouse that provides patrons with succulent lamb, steak cuts and lobster, not to mention al fresco dining. For a good ole fashioned burger and fries’ combo, you can’t go past Guy’s Burger Joint – Carnival Cruises has partnered with restauranteur, author and TV personality Guy Fieri to bring passengers stunning burger creations and a rustic atmosphere straight out of a roadside burger shack.
Entertainment and Relaxation
One of the key characteristics of the Carnival Vista is its sheer number of shows, attractions, programmes, classes and amenities. Cruisers can spend an entire day in SportSquare, which as the name suggests, features a wide variety of sporting activities including soccer, basketball, golf, volleyball and ping-pong. It’s also here that you can take to the skies on a ropes course or in the SkyRide, a bike course set high above the deck.
To take things slower, you could spend time at the quirky Dr. Suess Bookville library, enjoy peace and quiet at the Serenity Adult-only Retreat, watch a hit flick at the larger-than-life IMAX theatre in the Carnival Multiplex, or sip on a Mojito as you sunbathe at the Havana Bar and Pool. With so much to see and do, your only problem will be deciding what to do next!
