Azamara Journey in Norway

Azamara’s 2018 World Journey

Posted December 7th, 2016

Departing from Sydney, Azamara’s first-ever World Journey takes passengers on an adventure of a lifetime. From the exotic and intriguing to the charming and historic, the Azamara Journey will sail to a kaleidoscope of fascinating destinations, including:

Over 102 days, guests will visit 60 ports in 29 countries, glide from winter into spring and discover the joy of journeying with Azamara.

 Lisbon's classic Yellow Tram, Portugal

The World Journey is set to deliver what it promises: a voyage of epic proportions around the globe. Sailing from Sydney, the Azamara Journey will begin by winding its way up the east coast of Australia, stopping at locales such as Brisbane, Hamilton Island and Cairns.

Next up is the Asian leg of the itinerary. Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in the diverse and enchanting cultures of:

Singapore Skyline

From there, it’s a journey into the Middle East, with stops at Dubai, Muscat, Safaga (Luxor), Aqaba (Petra), Ashdod (Jerusalem) and Haifa (Nazareth). Passengers can contrast the luxuries of modern life in Dubai with the history and magic of ancient cities and ports.

The European leg of the voyage serves up some of the most popular destinations in the world, from Greece’s Santorini and Italy’s Amalfi to France’s Cannes, Monaco’s Monte Carlo and the Netherlands’ Amsterdam. To cap it all off, the Azamara Journey docks at the global powerhouse of London.

The Azamara Journey Cruise Ship

A mid-sized vessel, the Azamara Journey is small enough to deftly glide along famous waterways and dock in city centres, bringing destinations right to your doorstep. The ship boasts a variety of welcoming public spaces, including several bars, restaurants, lounges, a casino, a fitness centre, a large pool and the Sanctum Spa. These beautifully furnished amenities are paired with carefully designed staterooms, many of which have their own veranda, and first-class service from attentive staff who know passengers’ preferences and tastes.

Extended World Voyage

Can’t get enough travel? For those who want to start sooner, stay later or both, Azamara can extend your world voyage. 102 days of exploring will become 127, 61 ports will turn into 79 and the number of countries visited will leap from 29 to 35.

In the pre-voyage, travellers can kick things off in Auckland and uncover the beauty of ‘Middle Earth’ on a 14-night trip around New Zealand. Thanks to the post-voyage, guests will stay on board and tick more destinations off their travel bucket list, including:
