Port Denarau, Fiji

Port Denarau Marina is the gateway to the tropical wonderland that is the west coast of Fiji. With white-sand beaches, beautiful weather, and its famous carefree atmosphere, Fiji is the ideal destination for relaxation.

Though only small in size, Denarau is one of the most popular islands for tourists to visit in Fiji. A large number of international chain hotels and resorts, as well as an 18-hole golf course, are situated on the island.

Port Denara Marina is a popular embarking and disembarking point for cruises, yachts and schooners. Many day cruise trips depart from here, leaving to visit nearby islands, such as the stunning Mamanuca Islands. The port also houses a large shopping precinct, filled with restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, a pharmacy, hairdressers and beauty salons, and souvenir shops.

A popular way to get around the island and visit the different hotels and resorts is to travel by Bula bus. The buses operate between 7:30am and 11:30pm on a continuous loop and depart every 15 minutes, seven days a week.

To visit neighbouring islands, regular ferries are available. Ensure that you check the timetables carefully.
