Port Location - The cruise terminal which opened in 2006 is located on the Brisbane River in the suburb of Hamilton, 5km from the city centre.

Transport Links - Brisbane Airport is 20 kilometres east of the city centre at Eagle Farm, north of the river. There are flights available to all Australian capitals and numerous regional centres from the domestic terminal. The international terminal is serviced by all major regional airlines and it is possible to fly daily to most Asian centres, the USA and New Zealand. Rail services include Countrylink which operates from Sydney and Queensland Rail has services from most centres in Queensland. Greyhound Australia links to most other locations to Brisbane.

Public transport incorporates an integrated ticketing system across the three main modes of transport: buses, ferries and trains. There are many bike paths in Brisbane and its possible to hire a bike to get around, or hiring a car is another option.
