See Inside Seabourn's New Observation Bar

Posted April 8th, 2016

The countdown is underway to Seabourn Encore, which is due to set sail in December, 2016. In case we needed reminding of the kind of ultra-luxury we can expect on board, Seabourn has just released a sneak peek inside the ship's stunning Observation Bar.

The bar will live up to its name, possessing the highest viewing point on the ship that will be complemented with glass walls offering 270-degree forward-facing views.

The view isn't the only reason to step inside. In the morning, guests will be able to sit down to a continental breakfast, followed by white-glove tea service in the afternoon. By sunset, Observation Bar will transform into a stylish lounge with cocktails, piano entertainment and gourmet dinner.

“The Observation Bar is a stunning space that our guests will be able to enjoy throughout the day,” Seabourn President Richard Meadows said. “It will be an ideal place to relax and share conversation with fellow guests while enjoying remarkable views.”

Australians can look forward to Seabourn Encore reaching our shores in January, 2017. The ship will cruise between Darwin and Geelong between 22 January and 17 March, 2017.

I love the kind of travelling that is one part strategic planning and two parts spontaneous adventure. Whether I'm exploring my local city or a small town in the middle of nowhere, I'm always hoping to find something no one else has discovered.
