Queen Mary 2 Cruises To New Australasian Destinations In 2018

Posted April 3rd, 2016

Cunard's Queen Mary 2 (QM2) will cruise to new Australasian locations as part of its newly released 2018 World Voyages offerings, which can be booked from April 13. With 14 Australian ports of call and the new 13-night circumnavigation of New Zealand and four-night cruise to Kangaroo Island in South Australia available, there is now a wider choice for cruisers from Australia.

Demand for QM2's shorter cruises during the 2017 cruise season led to the inclusion of more round-trip cruises from Australia in 2018. QM2 and sister ship Queen Elizabeth will visit 14 Australian ports, including Busselton in Western Australia and Kangaroo Island in South Australia - both of which can expect maiden visits next year ahead of the 2018 World Voyages program. Queen Elizabeth will make her second stop to Newcastle in New South Wales in 2018 too, after the maiden visit this year.

The 13-night New Zealand circumnavigation will see QM2 make maiden calls to Dunedin on the South Island and Tauranga on the North Island. Departing from Sydney, the cruise will take in Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound in Fiordland National Park as well as stop in Dunedin, Akaroa, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Bay of Islands.
