Princess Cruises Serving Up New Craft Cocktails, Beers & Coffee
The quest for the best cruise beverage options at sea has been kicked up a notch with Princess Cruises introducing new and exciting speciality cocktails, craft beers and coffee fusions.
Always looking for new products and passenger services, Princess Cruises is introducing the following new beverage options from October 2015.
The Salty Dog Gastropub
From October 2015, Crown Princess will receive a new edition to the Wheelhouse Bar, followed by Emerald Princess and Ruby Princess in December 2015 for its European sailings.
‘The Salty Dog Gastropub’ will be serving up a new small plate dining option as a dinner alternative with upscale interpretations of classic British pub favourites as part of their new gourmet menu.
Beverage options will include new craft and speciality beers, classic and contemporary cocktails, and a specially designed whiskey menu to roll out fleet-wide throughout 2015 and 2016.
The new food and beverage options will be served with the same great live music and entertainment line-up adding to the fun and relaxing atmosphere of the Wheelhouse Bar.
Dawn Princess Whiskey Bar
In Australian waters, Dawn Princess has launched a new dedicated whiskey bar, a first of its kind. From Scotland’s windswept Isle of Skye to the alps of Japan and the northern coastline of Tasmania, the new concept brings together 63 different whiskies from around the globe to provide a diverse tasting experience for all palates.

New Craft Beers & Microbrews
Princess Cruises has introduced its exclusive range of craft beers across its fleet. The microbrews have been created in partnership with breweries known for their distinctive beer flavours.
A recent recipient of the acclaimed New York International Beer Competition’s bronze medal is Seawitch West Coast IPA (Indian Pale Ale). Created exclusively for Princess Cruises by Strike Brewing Company, other Seawitch brew options include Alaska Denali Red Ale and East Coast Blonde Lager.
New Grounds Crafted Coffee
A brand new barista service has been introduced for speciality crafted coffee and tea onboard all ships. Trained by the American Barista & Coffee School in Portland, Oregon, all coffee drinks will use beans from Caffe Boasi grown in Genoa, Italy.
The new tea and coffee ‘New Grounds Crafted Coffee’ options include both hot and cold espresso-based drinks, barista coffee infusions, iced-tea fusions, plus green tea and coffee extracts.
