Princess Cruises Announces Partnership With Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone

In exciting news for gourmands and cruisers alike, Princess Cruises has announced an exclusive partnership with acclaimed chef, esteemed restaurateur, New York Times bestselling author and much-loved television personality Curtis Stone.

Bringing his inspired flair for creating fresh, wholesome food to sea, passengers onboard Princess Cruises' entire 18-ship fleet will be treated to three gourmet offerings all personally designed by Curtis himself.

The onboard culinary spoils include menu items that reflect the destinations of each voyage, a bespoke restaurant concept and the exclusive Chef's Table by Curtis Stone experience.

'Crafted by Curtis' menu items will debut in October onboard Golden Princess in Australia, with fleet-wide roll-out towards the end of 2015.


The celebrity chef's first restaurant at sea will open its doors in December onboard Emerald Princess from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean, as well as Ruby Princess, on cruises from Los Angeles to Hawaii and Mexico. The rollout continues with Coral Princess and its Panama Canal journeys, before the yet-to-be-named restaurant reaches Australian shores on the Sun Princess.

Those desperate for a seat at Curtis Stone's Chef's Table will have to wait a little longer until early 2016 when the coveted experience rolls out across Princess Cruises' fleet.

Similar to Princess Cruises' commitment to elevating onboard experiences with the 'come back new' holiday promise, Chef Stone believes that good food adds an extra dimension to a cruise holiday.

“Since I travel often, I know that discovering delicious food and sharing a great meal can create some of the most memorable moments and I’ve designed my restaurants with this in mind. It’s important to me that guests have the experience that I would want and food that I’d be thrilled to eat myself, at sea or anywhere else in the world,” he says.


Princess Cruises' president Jan Swartz couldn't be more thrilled about the international collaboration.

“We take tremendous pride in preparing and serving our guests freshly made dishes served with passion and care. This is an exciting step for Princess and sure to delight our guests since Chef Stone also believes that great meals bring people together to create lifelong memories, much like travel,” adds Jan.

The partnership will especially appeal to Australian cruisers, given the lauded chef's popularity in his home country.
