P&O Australia to Sail from SA and WA in 2014

In the 2014-15 cruise season, P&O Australia will, for the first time, offer roundtrip cruises from Adelaide, and Pacific Jewel will be based in Fremantle.

Yesterday, Australia's leading cruise line announced its latest program, featuring departures from every mainland state,

including a long-awaited return to the west coast. P&O will send Pacific Jewelto Western Australia for 8 cruises in 2015 - the first time the company has based a ship in Fremantle since Pacific Sun left in 2011.

Among the new options are 12 night cruises to Indonesia from Fremantle via Lombok, Bali & Komodo Island; and a 14 night cruise from Fremantle to Singapore, calling at Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Vietnam.

In South Australia, P&O Australia is planning 2 roundtrip sailings from Adelaide to Tasmania and Victoria for 9 nights.

The cruise line has also announced an extended Melbourne season in 2015, with 5 roundtrip cruises including several to SA and Tasmania.

Pacific Dawn will feature more Papua New Guinea voyages departing from Brisbane, including a 14 night cruise maiden visits to the ports of Madang, Kavieng and Rabaul, as well as scenic cruising of the Vitu Islands.

The new 2014-15 program also comprises a special Australia Day event involving all 3 of P&O Australia's ships in Sydney Harbour, and a 5 day SeaBreak from Sydney to Melbourne for the Australian Open grand slam tennis tournament.
