P&O's First Asia Cruise Season Now On Sale

Posted May 8th, 2016

Australians looking to explore the exotic cities and regions of Asia are in for a treat this winter with P&O's inaugural Asia season.

Fares have only just gone on sale for the 14-night roundtrip cruise from Singapore on 13 August, 2016, on board Pacific Eden, one of P&O's newest ships.

The cruise will visit nine ports including Ko Chang in Thailand. The island haven's powder-white beaches and coral-filled waters have yet to welcome a cruise vessel.

The Langkawi archipelago in Malaysia, Sihanoukville in Cambodia, and Bangkok and Krabi in Thailand are some of the other destinations.

"Asia has long been a favourite travel destination with Australian holidaymakers and we’re thrilled to be offering a new way to experience the wonders of the region from the stylish decks of Pacific Eden," P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said.

"Our new Asia holidays combine a mixture of popular destinations including Phuket and Langkawi with off-the-beaten-track ports best accessed by ship such as Ko Chang in the Gulf of Thailand.

"These cruises offer the ultimate Asian adventure and the best part is that our guests only have to unpack once before being treated to a week or two exploring some of the world’s most stunning destinations, all while enjoying the great value of a cruise holiday and the comfort of a ship designed to suit their tastes."

Seven-night cruises are also available.

I love the kind of travelling that is one part strategic planning and two parts spontaneous adventure. Whether I'm exploring my local city or a small town in the middle of nowhere, I'm always hoping to find something no one else has discovered.
