Life onboard an Azamara Club Cruise

Posted July 20th, 2015

Australians can’t get enough of cruising holidays and with our appetite showing no signs of waning, more and more cruise lines are sending their cruise ships down under. One cruise line we’re really excited to see sailing our Aussie waters is boutique cruise line, Azamara Club Cruises; and with its imminent arrival, here’s a snapshot of what you can expect to see and do onboard an Azamara Cruise.

Australian Itineraries

Arriving on our shores for the first time in December 2015 will be the Azamara Quest, a mid-sized ship hosting just under 700 passengers and promising guests an experience “like staying in a fine boutique hotel, only better”. Known for its exceptional personalised service, world-class cuisine and stylish accommodation, we have no doubt that they’ll deliver on this promise.

With 5 voyages in just over two months, Australians will get to explore over 25 ports in Australia & New Zealand from Cairns, Port Douglas & Hamilton Island to the picturesque Milford Sound & Bay of Islands. There will also be plenty of shore excursions & activities available for guests from eco-adventures, underwater exploring, hiking through rain forests, and of course, sampling some award-winning wines throughout the journey.

Guests will also be able to spend more time in ports than any other cruise line, thanks to Azamara's Destination Immersion program. Most cruise lines leave each port around 4-5pm in the afternoon however Azamara allows customers to fully experience the culture, cuisine, scenery, and people of the destinations by offering more overnights, longer stays (until around 8pm), and night touring options!

Life Onboard

Onboard Azamara cruise ships, passengers are treated to 24-hour room service, a choice of exceptional restaurants and an international cellar of fine wines, along with entertainment such as Broadway-style shows, spa services and daily classes including fitness instruction. Guests will also enjoy a host of unmatched inclusive amenities—such as standard spirits, international beers and wines, gratuities & complimentary shuttle services to and from most port communities. And with just under 700 passengers & more than 400 staff and crew, you’ll love the attentive personal service and the bartender who knows your favourite drink!
