Inside Look: Grand Wintergarden Suites On Seabourn Encore

Posted February 22nd, 2016

All eyes from the luxury cruise industry are on Seabourn at the moment, as travellers and executives alike eagerly await the emergence of Seabourn Encore, the line's newest vessel launching late 2016.

Australia will be one of the first markets to experience the ultra luxury promised on board, with the vessel heading Down Under for the summer cruising season.

Seabourn has just given us another taste of what's to come, releasing a rendering of the most luxurious and largest suites on Seabourn Encore, the Grand Wintergarden Suites.

Grand Wintergarden Suites

The two suites will deliver some of the most extravagant in-room features on the ocean, including a private glassed-in Solarium with soaking tub and day bed, a 23-square-metre verandah, wet bar, three flat-screen TVs and an additional whirlpool bathtub.

There will be plenty of room to entertain, 114 square metres of it in fact (indoor and outdoor combined). Each suite will make the most of its position on Deck 8 with large ocean-facing windows and two private verandahs.

Guests will be able to entertain with a six-seater dining table, pantry and espresso machine, while the two bedrooms make it a great choice for travelling couples or a family.

Opulence abounds in the two and a half bathrooms, which, along with the whirlpool tub, boast a shower, polished stone and Molton Brown bath products.

The exclusive offers aren't only confined to the suites. Guests will also receive private car transfers, complimentary internet, a fruit basket and personalised service by the Guest Service Manager.

Seabourn Encore is expected to uphold the cruise line's generous amount of space per guest, along with an impressive staff-to-guest ratio, which will sit close to 1:1.

Seabourn Encore's first season (22 January to 17 March, 2017) will be spent cruising Australian waters, including stops at Darwin and Geelong. Contact your nearest Cruiseabout for deals on upcoming journeys.

I love the kind of travelling that is one part strategic planning and two parts spontaneous adventure. Whether I'm exploring my local city or a small town in the middle of nowhere, I'm always hoping to find something no one else has discovered.
