Celebrity Solstice coming Down Under

The countdown has begun... in just 3 months (or 78 days to be exact), Celebrity Solstice will grace Australian waters for the very first time.

To prepare Australia for her arrival, here are the details of the highlights of this magnificent ship.

Launched in November 2008, this 122,000-ton, 2850-passenger ship is one of Celebrity Cruises’ more decorated ships at sea, and is full of “firsts” for the cruise line. These include the first Lawn Club at sea, the first Hot Glass Show SM and it is the first cruise line to have 5 women (known as “the Leading Ladies SM”) redesign and redecorate the staterooms.

Other things that set Celebrity Solstice apart from the rest of the fleet are its speciality restaurants that take the overall cruise dining experience to whole new level. But, the redesigned staterooms and first-class cuisine are only part of the ship’s charm...

Cellar Masters:

With a bold collection of both familiar and unknown wines from around the world, this amazing wine bars invites you to explore them all. The bar features a state-of-the-art Enomatic wine-by-the-glass dispensing system, allowing you to pour your choice directly from the bottle in a 1-ounce, 2.5-ounce or 5-ounce portion as you swipe your SeaPass card. There are also Sommerliers on hand to offer further insight into the fine art of wine selection.

Lawn Club:

The Lawn Club is a freshly manicured lawn on the highest deck of Celebrity Solstice, where you can enjoy casual outdoor activities in a Country Club atmosphere. There is nothing else like it.

Sky Observation Lounge:

During the day, this area offers a quite refuge for gazing over the sea, with a cocktail in hand. At night, it comes to life with live music and dancing, and special interactive theme parties.

AquaSpa by Elemis:

Celebrity Solstices’ AquaSpa is one of the largest and best appointed spas at sea. The exclusive treatments offers include exotic services from around the world, like a Thai Herbal Poultice Massage, or a luxurious Elemis Oxydermy Facial. You can also check out the spectacular Fitness Centre with specialised classes and state-of-the-art equipment.

The Hot Glass Show:

Witness the incredible, gorgeous art of glassblowing with intimate live demonstrations. Watch and learn from professional glassblowers in this popular, one-of-a-kind exhibition from the renowned Corning Museum of Glass.

Silk Harvest Restaurant:

As the first Asian restaurant in the Celebrity fleet, Silk Harvest Restaurant takes you on a journey to the Far East, with delicacies that are meant for sharing. Offering authentic Asian hospitality paired with a contemporary blend of Chinese, Japanes, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy family-style dining in a warm and friendly setting.

Main Restaurant:
