Viking Tor offers you a relaxing and unique way to see Europe in comfort and sophisticated elegance. As a Viking Longship, Viking Tor is able to traverse rare ports of call while still providing guests with the most spacious staterooms, balconies, and public rooms onboard a European river ship.

Staterooms and suites feature hotel-style beds, private bathrooms with showers and premium bath products, telephones, refrigerators, complimentary bottled water, bathrobes and slippers, individual climate control, and flat-screen televisions with premium satellite channels. Suites include floor-to-ceiling glass doors and balconies, and Explorer Suites include 270-degree views, wrap-around verandas, and living rooms.

Viking Tor shore excursions are lead by knowledgeable cruise staff and local guides, and include visits to artist workshops, vineyards, and landmarks. Onboard you will delight in cooking classes, tastings of local cuisine, cheeses, and coffees, and multimedia seminars about the history and culture of ports of call, such as French Impressionists, Rhine Valley castles, and phrases in local languages. You can also lounge on the Sun Deck, browse the boutique for souvenirs and sundries, find a good book in the well-stocked library, and play with the life-size chessboard.

In the evening, the Observation Lounge and Bar transforms from a tranquil lounge with impressive views to a bar with dancing and meeting new friends. The Aquavit Terrace is a quiet place to enjoy a drink in the fresh air or stargaze with loved ones.

Viking Tor welcomes families onboard, though no special youth facilities are available for children. Viking Tor cruises a destination-based itinerary and is not recommended for young children.
Viking Tor's main dining room offers traditional seating, complete with fantastic views. Breakfast is served buffet-style with savory and sweet stations including breads, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, and an egg and omelet station. Lunch is also served as a buffet with soup and sandwich options, or can be ordered off the menu with a choice of decadent dessert. The Aquavit Terrace, Viking Tor's secondary dining area, offers al fresco dining with lighter fare options. Dinner is the highlight of dining onboard, as it is a five-course gourmet meal with regional specialties as well as International favourites, and is served with complimentary beer or wine.
