Viking Spirit was launched in 2001, along with sister ships Viking Europe, Viking Neptune and Viking Pride. This small, versatile ship features beautifully designed public areas, and a wraparound deck from which you can enjoy the picturesque views river cruising has to offer at any time you wish. With only 150 passengers on board, Viking Spirit’s atmosphere is intimate, friendly and casual.
Viking Spirit features 75 comfortable and spacious outside staterooms, including 63 in the Deluxe category and 12 Standard staterooms. Onboard, you can enjoy the 360-degree views from the sun deck while seated in a shaded area, relax in the observation lounge and bar, or soak up the panoramic views offered by the floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant. Take a walk around the promenade deck for spectacular views, or enjoy lectures from experts in local culture. You can even take foreign language lessons so that you can explore each port with confidence. Due to the nature of its river cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not offer facilities or services for children onboard their vessels. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanies by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21, and they must share a cabin. Children under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated.
