Due to the nature of its river cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not offer facilities or services for children onboard their vessels. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanies by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21, and they must share a cabin. Children under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated.
Dining is a highlight with Viking Primadonna, with the Viking chefs creating a variety of delicious offerings featuring local specialities, using the freshest, seasonal produce. Breakfast and lunch are a casual affair, with a multiple of options to choose from. For breakfast have a made-to-order omelette, or opt for some fresh fruit and pastries. For lunch choose from the soup and sandwich bar, or choose and entrée and dessert from the day’s luncheon menu. For dinner, indulge in a five-course gourmet menu, with regional specialities, complemented by fine regional wines.
