Viking Pride is one of four Viking sister ships setting the bar for river cruising in Europe. Launched in 2001, Viking Pride features beautifully designed public areas, and a wraparound deck allowing you to enjoy optimal views of the river while you cruise. With only 150 passengers onboard, the atmosphere is intimate, personable and casual, making it easy to see why Viking Pride recently won Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Poll for Best Small Ship and Top River Cruise Ship.
Viking Pride offers 75 comfortable outside staterooms, including 63 deluxe and 12 standards. All of Viking Prides’ staterooms are spacious and elegant, offering comfortable beds, roomy wardrobes, a TV with premium entertainment package and a private bathroom. Viking Pride’s onboard features include a sun deck with 360-degree views and shaded sitting areas, an observation lounge and bar with panoramic views, floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant and a walk around promenade deck from which you can enjoy the beauty of the river and surrounding landscape. Onboard you can also participate in lectures, workshops and cultural experiences that will help you immerse fully in your cruise experience and destinations.

Due to the nature of its river cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not offer facilities or services for children onboard their vessels. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanies by a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21, and they must share a cabin. Children under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated.
Viking Pride’s chefs work tirelessly to create a variety of gourmet menus during your cruise, using freshly prepared seasonal local produce. For breakfast, choose from a selection of pastries, meats, egg dishes, fresh fruit, cereals and more. At lunch select from the soup and sandwich bar, or choose an entrée and dessert from the lunch menu. For dinner you will be treated to a gourmet five-course dining experience, offering regional specialities, complemented by local fine wines. Wherever you are cruising, your experience will be enhanced by the dining options onboard – it is all part of experience the local culture.
