Oasis of the Seas is very infant, child and teen friendly, offering a large variety of activities and brightly coloured spaces for children, from 6 months to 17 years. The entire kids’ programme, called the Youth Zone, is the largest of its kind at sea.

The Royal Tots and Royal Babies programmes provide childcare and activities for children from 6 to 36 months old. Children, aged 3 to 5 (Aquanauts), 6 to 8 (Explorers) and 9 to 11 (Voyagers) have their own spaces to run around, take part in arcade games and Nintendo Wii tournaments, conduct science experiments (like volcano-making) and take in a mini-musical or perform in shows of their own. Teens won’t want to leave their designated areas, with the teen section set away from the younger kids so that they can enjoy their own lounges, juice bars, music room, Wipe Out Cafe, themed parties and DJ lessons.

There are so many dining options available on Oasis of the Seas that you could do something different for every meal, three times a day, for an entire week, and no repeat one venue! Opus, the ships traditional, three-deck main dining room, is open for breakfast, lunch (open-seating) and dinner (set-seating). The Windjammer Marketplace is the popular buffet-style venue offers a more casual venue for the main meals.

For other casual options, head to Johnny Rockets for burgers, fries and shakes, or grab a sugary pastry at the 24-hour Cafe Promenade. Sorrento’s Pizzeria offers a create-your-own-pizza option, and Chops Grill, the line’s dinner-only steakhouse, takes you to a Manhattan eatery that is sleek and beautifully designed.

The eateries onboard Oasis of the Seas is broken up into mostly two neighbourhoods - the Royal Promenade, Central Park, the Boardwalk and the Pool and Sports zone.
